Igor Adleiba and Harry Simon Jr. will fight for the vacant WBO Youth Welter title
The fight for the vacant WBO Youth Welter title will take place on November 2 at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament in Yekaterinburg. Candidates for the vacant title are Abkhazian boxer Igor Adleiba (8-0) and Harry Simon Jr. from Namibia. They have an eight-round fight (up to 66.7 kg).
Both boxers began their professional careers in 2017 and are still undefeated. Moreover, if for Adleiba this fight will be the first title bout, his opponent is the current champion of his country. In addition, Simon Jr. won most of the fights ahead of schedule, and Adleiba got most of the victories by decision.
From the point of view of a rating the boxer from Namibia looks the favorite, he is the 2nd number of the country and 193rd in the world, Adleiba is 16th in Russia and 581st in the world. However, for the Namibian boxer it will be the first fight outside of country, so the RCC Boxing Promotions boxer will have an advantage in the form of a home ring.
