Kashinskiy will fight with Vautrin for the IBF Intercontinental title
Russian boxer Yuri Kashinskiy (17-0, 16ko) will fight for the IBF Intercontinental title. Frenchman Olivier Vautrin (14-1-1, 5ko) will be his opponent. The fight will take place on June 16 and will be part of the Boxing Show in Yekaterinburg.
The upcoming battle with Vautrin will be the first one for Kashinskiy this year. The previous fight he had in October and knocked out the Argentinean Busaldo in the third round. The Russian fighter has 17 victories and no defeats, as well as the WBO Oriental title. In addition, Kashinskiy is in the ranking of the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC.
Vautrin made his debut as a professional in 2016. Over the past three years, he has played 16 fights and is in the second place in the French ranking. He has a series of eight victories before the fight with Kashinskiy.
Interestingly, in case of winning the fight, Kashinsky will be able to become one of the contenders for the IBF World title in cruiserweight. Now he is in the fourth line in the IBF ranking, only three boxers are above - Olexander Usyk, Andrew Tabiti and Yunier Dorticos. The last two will fight in the World Boxing Super Series Semi-Finals and the loser will leave the top 15 IBF, and Olexander Usyk has risen to the heavyweight category.
It is worth noting that the Boxing Show will be part of the Global Boxing Forum with the support of the Russian Copper Company. From June 13 to 16, representatives of leading boxing organizations will hold a series of meetings to find new points of growth for boxing development.
