Russian boxer Yagub Nuriev will face with a boxer from Cameroon
Russian boxer Yagub Nuriev (1-0) will face with Cameroonian Guerin Soh Fonkou (2-6). The six-round bout will take place on May 18 as part of the RCC Boxing Promotions show in Yekaterinburg.
The upcoming fight will be the second in a professional career for Yagub Nuriev. In March of this year, he made his debut in a four-round fight by the unanimous decision over Abdulhamid Nazarov (1-2). He has a very serious experience in amateurs - won the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region Championship seven times, won the gold medal of the Urals Federal District and European Championship, was a multiple winner of the Russian Championship and a silver medalist the World Cup of the Petroleum Countries.
Guerin Soh Fonkou is very familiar to the Ural boxing fans - all his professional fights were held in Yekaterinburg under the auspices of the RCC Boxing Promotions. In total, the Cameroonian professional had eight fights in which he scored two victories and suffered six defeats.
