Olympic gold medalist (2016 in Rio) Evgeny Tishchenko will hold the next bout in Yekaterinburg on February 22 at the evening of boxing hosted by RCC Boxing Promotions. This will be Evgeny’s fourth professional fight.
It is not known who will be the rival of Evgeny Tishchenko, but it is known that Russian boxing prospect will hold a bout consisted of 8 rounds. All his previous fights took place in a six-round format. Nikolay Popov, head coach of Russian Olympian, had previously stated that Evgeny Tishchenko could hold four fights in 2019, after which they plan to try hands on the first professional title bout.
Evgeny Tishchenko’s previous bout took place last November in America in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tishchenko fought at the undercard of Dmitry Bivol vs. Jean Pascal and squared off against the Mexican boxer Christian Mariscal, whom the Russian phenom knocked out in round 2.
Evgeny’s last two bouts took place in Yekaterinburg, where he relocated at the invitation of RCC Boxing Promotions. At the moment, Tishchenko is among top-10 strongest heavyweights in Russia.
