Edward Skavinsky came to the Thai boxing section at the instruction of his father at the age of 10. Two years later, Skavinsky moved to boxing, where he emerged as an athlete. Edward Skavinsky – three-time winner of the Ukrainian championships at his age, winner of the European championships, winner of numerous international boxing tournaments. In the amateur ring spent 250 fights, won in 240. His examples he calls Konstantin Tszyu, Arturo Gatti and Mohammed Ali.
His debut took place on 26th October, 2015. The debut fight Edward held in Ukraine versus Mikola Polegaev. He won by unanimous decision and opened his way to professional boxing.
8th July, 2017 — The first fight in Russia. Skavinsky's rival on his first Russian tournament became Evgeny Nikitin from Sergiev Posad. Skavinsky won by knockout.
19th August, 2018 — Fight for IBF Baltic and WBO Oriental titles. At the time of the first title fight, Eduard Skavinsky held eight professional fights and won all of them. His rival was Ukrainian Oleksandr Ivanov(15-3-0).
The fight was very hard, Edward received a strong cut, but the chief physician of the competition allowed to continue the fight. For Skavinsky, the battle became a real test of character – the win by unanimous decision.
